Tonado successfully dismantled the large tower crane C7050 of Nghi Son Thermal Power Plant – Thanh Hoa

At the end of January 2013, Tonado Vietnam Joint Stock Company undertook the dismantling of the SCM C7050 heavy tower crane for the international contractor at the Nghi Son 1 Thanh Hoa thermal power plant project.

Tower crane has working height of ~ 230m, height under hook of 217m, load capacity of 20 tons, manufactured by SCM-Tu Xuyen tower crane company.

The weather conditions were windy, cold and rainy, with dense fog due to the coastal climate and the winter season. Tonado workers worked hard to overcome the difficulties to complete the work safely.

The contract commitment time was a maximum of 30 days, but after only 19 days, the tower crane was successfully lowered to the ground.

International contractors and the Project Management Board highly appreciated the progress, construction methods and compliance with technical safety standards that Tonado Vietnam has implemented.
